Sentiments

Dear Fellow Crafters,

Thinking of you cards can be of several types, depending on the emotion you wish to convey. They can be encouraging, loving, funny or they can lift spirits.  Here are a few:

  • You’re in my head snuggled up with warm thought blankets.
  • Thinking of you is one of my favorite things to do.
  • You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
  • Just think of me, thinking of you.

Wedding cards go way beyond the simple congratulations variety. All you have to do is type “Wedding Card sentiments/wishes for cards in your browser and voila! tons!!! Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Here’s to making a wish and having it come true.
  • May happiness find you in every corner of the globe as you begin your new life together.
  • Your wedding is a celebration of love.

‘Til next time,

~Sallie

Friday Scribblings- Accomplishment

“Every accomplishment begins with a person deciding to try

what dream and vision that they may have in their hearts. Instead of just being someone with a creative imagination, and just being able to dream, we have to make efforts to try and live to become the person we dream about being.”

Organizing again!

Dear Fellow Crafters,

Here are some tips on storing markers and paper:

Markers:

  •  sort by color in either marker caddies or divided plastic bins. I have several different brands that I sort like this. For instance, I have Marvy, Tombow markers and Embossing markers and gel markers.
  • A great tip is to buy a kitchen tool by Pampered Chef. You will probably use it over and over again. You can also buy another one for your kitchen!

Paper:

  • sold in several sizes.  12″ x 12″, 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 4.5″ x 6.5″.  You can divide the paper by manufacturer, by color, by size, by theme (spring, flowers, holiday)
  • All paper must be stored flat
  • Small scraps can be divided by color and stored in ziploc bags and put in a box. If you have an abundance of a certain type, for example; Christmas, floral, baby etc. you can store them in plastic  folders that are expandable. Don’t store anything that is smaller than 2″ x 2″.
  • Scraps can be recycled into punched shapes
  • Shelves can accommodate different sizes of paper
  • Look at cube systems in office supply stores or check out your local discount store
