Dear Fellow Crafters,
Each one of us is a gift that is shared with others. Our smile, our compassion, our gifts of friendship and love are shared with families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, our community, our state, and our world. Your craft, no matter what it is, is shared also.
I have a friend who learned how to crochet. She joined a ministry to make blankets for cancer patients. Another creates greeting cards for veterans in VA hospitals. When I was younger, I used to teach in after-school programs in my area.
We all share our gifts and by continually learning new skills, and practicing them we not only conquer the inner critic and jump over the creative blocks we find ourselves in, but we emerge from the dungeon of fear and self-criticism and fly towards our creative potential.
I hope that this series of posts over the last year have helped you unlock the creative blocks you’ve faced and with your new set of keys you will become the creative person you were meant to be.
‘Til next time,
