Pantone Color for Spring

Dear Fellow Crafters,

The Pantone Color Institute identifies itself as the “Global Color Authority.”

“The company started choosing colors of the year at the turn of the millennium in part as a way to demonstrate the psychology proving what makes a color take off and to answer the question every fashion person is routinely asked “why is the color ____ so popular this season?”

Vanessa Friedman, Unbuttoned  12/8/16

The color of the year helps market fashion, cosmetics, home furnishing, product and graphic design. You will also see shades/tints of the color in rubber stamping, yarn and floral arrangements.

The colors for spring 2017 are Niagara, Primrose Yellow, Lapis Blue, Flame and Island Paradise.

Happy Crafting,
