Adventures in Card-Making

Grandparents’ Day

Dear Fellow Crafters,

Grandparents’ Day was instituted in the United States many years ago. It’s a day to remember and honor our Grandparents. This year we will celebrate those wonderful caring family members on Sept. 9th. Grandparents, often as not, are parent’s “built-in babysitters” but any Grandparent will tell you that their “grand babies” are loved and played with, guided and cheered just as their parents were years ago. Some Grandparents even raise their Grandchildren.

For those of you who are lucky to have someone else who loves  you here are some cards and sentiments for the day

1. You are a source of love and wisdom in my life. Thank you for being such a positive influence as I try to look to you as a role model. 2. You’re the best grandparents any kid could ever ask to have. Thanks for spoiling me rotten. 3. Happy Grandparents Day to an amazing set of grandparents! You are generous with your time. We do a lot of fun stuff. 4. It’s difficult to imagine what my life would be like without you as my grandparents. Many people aren’t blessed with the chance to know their grandparents like I know you. I am very thankful to have you and to see you often.

For those of you who are estranged from  your grand kids (are  watching them grow up on Facebook) remember that you were once  loved by them and will hopefully be able to love them again soon.

Crafting with love,

Sallie
